That is pretty insane... seems unreasonable... but the guy showed me all the calibration numbers and they are all the same as the 355whp pulls. Temperature obviously wasn't much cooler either... Is that believable to you, Geo/Jay?
Well..... if you were blowing through enough oil, it'll dilute the intake charge pretty good and impede combustion. Oil doesn't really combust, so I bet it basically stops the flame propagation and leaves fuel unburnt. Therefore, a lot less power.

Adding a good catch can setup does help free up power. Really gets rid of those negative pressures allowing your rotating assembly to spin freely

Lol, yeah its a very clean shop.

Not sure. Still need to buy some drag radials. I cringe everytime I look at the prices...

Maybe the end of the year again. We'll see. In all likelihood I'm about to start a new job (full time) and cut back going to school to only part time, so that should allow for more money to play with.

Do you guys ever go to SGMP for any events? Most them are muscle car based, so I'm guessing not, but if you do, let me know and I'll try and bring the car out.

Your car is a stock set of rims away from being the ultimate sleeper. Such a clean car! Good luck at the track.

Thanks man.

Yeah, I've been considering switching to a tubular manifold, but I'm very picky and particular about what I want out of one, and there are compromises with all of them. So I'm going to max my current setup out first and if I'm still not satisfied then maybe I'll switch to a tubular manifold and make some compromises.
