Great Job man! And thats exactly right! 11.7 with a REAL 355hp on a REAL dyno. I think people... even myself sometimes... get caught up in numbers way to much. The only true equalizer is the track...I remember in my sti I made 275awhp on a mustang dyno and my buddy made 360awhp on a dynodynamics... so we get on the highway... drop down to second gear maybe 30mph... and take off... all the way through 6th up to 140/150 I had an easy 2-3 cars on him. we both shifted perfect... both same weight... dynos are so unimportant for numbers i feel now days.

anyways OP you should be getting 10"s easily with some good rubber under ya. Thats my goal too. Ptuning 3076 kit, same exhaust as ya... gonna do a race gas high boost map and hopefully run consistant 10"s... maybe low 10`s even one day

Finally bit the bullet and got myself a big boy clutch. Clutchmasters 850 series twin disc.

First drive sucked. Felt like I was learning to drive a manual transmission for the first time in a race car. Very harsh engagement with a very small window. Felt like an on/off switch with no ability to feather it.

Slowly getting used to it though. Just difficult learning how to feather it properly. I'm sure I will cope with it in the end and maybe even end up liking it, but it is certainly still a bit of a chore to drive currently.

Definitely no worries holding the power now at least. 1st and 2nd gear are basically useless now due to wheel spin. Time for some Mickeys?

Nice! Always like your car and build. Fast car for sure! Any new 1/4 mile times with the new found HP?

Thanks.

Not yet. Clutch has been slipping for awhile so haven't bothered. Hoping to get some DRs and go soon though. I will definitely post the results if/when I do.

So cool. Love this long project in the making. I've also been putting together a kit for the past 3-4years. Going equal length pfab topmount with jb Garrett t3 60trim 63ar turbo. Hopefully I get similar results of quick spool and usable power like yourself.
Did you ever change your mani?

Good luck man. It's definitely been a journey and will continue to be.

Nope, still the cast RevHard mani. Contemplated switching but not worth it for me at this point.

Welp, that didn't take long. Motor is blown.

Hah, just kidding. Slave cylinder took a shit. Time for a new slave and master cylinder. Hopefully that will keep it on the road for a bit longer and the next update will be a better one. Just goes to show that you can save time and money in the long run by replacing those parts the first time around. With nearly ~75k on the odo, it was time.
