i just recently went from an HKS HiPower canister w/ 3" piping and resonator to GReddy Ti-C dual 70mm to dual 60mm

i havent retuned it yet because im still going to install a 2mm gasket and 3.0" pulley but i did notice a very nice low/mid gains. the car is much more responsive now

very interesting.

Some data from my own personal experiences.
Dyno numbers would not be valid since there was a clutch change between the AP2 Mugen and the modified OEM cat back I have.

But the changes in boost numbers support your theories.
Since like a CT/VT the Roots puts out a set amount of CFM so boost is a product of restriction down stream of the blower all the way to the tips of the muffler.

[QUOTE]2.2
Internals unchanged.
Does not burn oil and catch can does not show indications of blowby
126mm crank
Upgraded Moss manifold
600hp PWR intercooler 3" inlet/outlet

On
Mugen 2.2 header
Stock OD TP
Mugen AP2 cat back

in 78 deg ambient conditions
Greddy pressure 5.5-6psi average
OEM sensor was seeing as hi as 7.0 and even saw a 8.1psi in the data logs.

In 50 deg ambient condition
Greddy pressure 6.0-6.5psi average
OEM sensor was seeing 8psi average and even saw a 10psi spike

On
Mugen 2.2 header
Stock OD TP
Stock cat back from TP to split with OEM OD piping before and after split
with a dual muffler setup of Race Series dynomax

i feel like there is some data missing....doesn't make sense that 3in makes more than 70mm, but 63mm makes more than 3 inch.
