There might be another transmission solution

We are working on a similar setup, only with a Ford 9" and bolt in 4-link and GF5r G-Force.
However, after I made a post similar to yours it was deleted and I was ask to become a sponsor.
Hopefully they'll keep your post active, but I'd bet a mod will jump all over it.
I would be curious to see how you adapted the trans setup? Did you make a motor plate?
Here is our solution currently. Will take at least 1200-1300hp according to G-Force. And we all know how stong the 9" and axles would be.
We debated doing an IRS setup, but this will be much better for what we are doing, drag racing. And overall much stronger.

I always thought the GF5r was the slimest of their trans while being very strong at the same time. The only 2 things I always wondered about were:
a) Do the side linkages clear the side of the trans tunnel?
b)Since the shifter sits off to the left side, how does it line up with the shifter hole?
