on our S, we can hit around 550rwhp safe. im not sure what is the limint on the Z though... all i know is the install is a bitch on the Z since there is no space. oh yea... get a diff upgrade while youre at it. it will give up
you can hit 550whp safe with a built block. stock block won't be able to handle that much power even with a headgasket

so you're saying that the stock block is capable of doing 550whp safe with just a headgasket. i'm sorry but that's asking for trouble. the max you should go on a stock block is 500whp

it's all about the tuning. and maybe he had some other stuff done to increase power besides just upping the boost.

Well a stock block z good for 400whp range stock block. But i was going for built block that can take 700whp/wtq+ but like i said can cost more than 20k done right. my goal was like 450-550 so a 400whp s2000 should be a good race then? I'll tell you what i love both car and would be happy with both.

tuning is crucial but still you will have a good chance to blow that engine. You can run 600whp if you want. but the engine won't last long

lol i had to run around and when i came back and click post, batikan already posted.

basically, there is no safe limit but i would say 550 or less will be the safer side. once you past that, it will blow very quicly
