S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Paulzale, all engines' torque curves cross their power curves at 5,252. That's the definition of power (hp = tq x 5252) when using lb-ft and hp. The curve profiles change (flatten out, get steaper, raise up, etc) depending on engines, but they always cross at 5252 rpm.

I think you are not looking at the plot correctly

there is 200ft of tq at the wheels from idle (granted the plot starts at 2.7k) up to 4k and then goes up from there because of vtec.

tell me what turbo (single) is capable of giving you 200ft.lbs instantly and still have enough air at redline to result in a decent HP number.

I didn't see this b4 my post, but that is my point exactly!

Note the plot is uncorrected.

The uncorrected and corrected numbers on that day were less then 1hp (different then each other)

The point of that statement is that it proves there was no additional scaling factor put into those numbers and the environmental conditions on that day were exactly on the standards for temp, humidity and pressure.

Thanks kelz12, the cost is what is steering me towards greddy. I am learning more about the SOT, and haven't seen a used kit and don't even know where to get a new one.

I think you are a little confused by the SOT kit.

I highly doubt that since I am one of the engineers that help design the kit thought the beta program.

The power is addictive.

Be prepared to buy tires more frequently

No problem!

Yea you will have a tough time finding a used SOT kit, because they are very new. And I haven't seen any of the people that have them that aren't happy with the kit, so with that lol good luck finding a used one @ this time!

My friend has a greddy kit and it's a nice kit for what it is, especially for what you are looking for!

I wasn't referring to you, I know you know all about the kit. I was referring to the person saying it was still a supercharger so its the same as the rest of them!

Thanks, that is my thought too, $$$ I will stay with Greddy and then sell it if I want more. Thanks this has been very informative and reassuring to me, well other than not reading the dyno graph correctly

The greddy kit can be self installed and the instuctions are pretty good. Buying a kit is one thing but having all the small peices to put it together is another. All the kits are good you just need to figure out whcih is best for you. If it is price then the greddy kit, used SC is a good option. If it is all out upgradable HP, 3mm, tweaked out. An inline pro or full race may be a better choice.

Look at
Kit- kind of TQ curve you want hp goals
ems-emmisions per your state-issue
labor-are you going to pay or are there instructions
tuning-pre tuned-street tune-pay to tune
other-the more power you make the more stuff you will need to upgrade, clutch ect
