Thinking of going FI

DeadZero, sorry for blowing up. Greddy seems to take it on the chin in this forum and I just think it has its nitch which exactly where paulzale wants to be. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just out of curiousity, are you FI? I'm sure you are I just don't know what kit you have. Take care!
Good luck paulzale!
The SOT eaton supercharger kit makes the S2000 file like it has a 4.0L V8 with the same S2000 powerband, but without the weight of course. If you want usable tq everywhere without lag or torque spikes, the SOT is what you're looking for.
If you want to make 500hp+, go turbo.

Would 4.77 gears be too aggressive with a stage 1 SOT kit on an AP1? Would 1st and 2nd gear be usable?
even at 2k rpms,2nd depend on how cold the tires are there is a little bit of spinning.
3rd and up is not a problem
and this is on heat cycled RT-615 Falkens that have been heat cycled to many times to be useful on the AutoX/ track but still have a bit of treed left for the street.
Spinning the tires every once in a while with the stock 4.1 is so fun.
AS with any hi TQ light car there is the factor of drivers skill to allways be considered.
I will be installing the new Puddymod diff with 4.44 gears this weekend.
But still need to install the new OS Giken clutch. After two years of AutoX/track (1.5 years of that Roots supercharged) the clutch has started slipping.
I drive my car very very hard at its limits all most every weekend during the autoX season; SO much so I usually spin 50-70% of my auto X runs.
<< Cone killer
The lip splitter has take the tops off some of the older cones from time to time.
I don't know what you guys are talking about when you say the greddy kit feels like its losing top end power............................................. ................................. my greddy kit pulls hard all the way....

I think the KW kit puts down what 365 on a DYNAPACK, thats not earth shattering.
If you want torque down low, there are two options: positive displacement supercharger (i.e. roots style) or a small turbo.
So, that really only leaves you with the SOT supercharger system.
One other possible option is an Inline Pro turbo kit with a GT3071 and a small A/R turbine housing. Won't come on as soon as the SOT blower, but will probably hit 10psi by 3k or so and hold to redline. Guessing on this.... anyone have a dyno with a 3071 and small turbine housing?
oh yeah, personally not a fan of Greddy, but I suppose that is an option.

Thanks, but doesn't compare to Greddy or offer opinions. I value people's input on this board and have no idea who wrote that in the link. Good back ground information.
Think i read in another thread on the F/I sub where a guy was adament on NOT buying the one you stated.
Good luck with your quest.
Thanks, really just interested in the Ultimate Racing setup vs. Greddy. I am thinking the UR maybe decent if I get a good price used, but for what I want it still seems I am leaning toward the Greddy. Any thoughts?
