Default Thinking of Turbo Set up? Go Inline Pro!

As a new turbo S2000 owner I wanted to pass some info on to anyone thinking about going turbo. First, there is no other way to get from 0-100. If you can handle a monster of a car, go turbo! I had to name her "Bad Monkey" after my first pull.

There are a couple options when going turbo but, I found the Inline Pro kit to give me exactly what I wanted( Performance and Reliability). From the first day I contacted Ya @ Inline Pro this guy was top notch! This weighed heavy on my decision to purchase my AP2 turbo from a private seller.

Ya, was honest and upfront about all costs and potential risk with a pre-owned AP2 turbo. He was willing to give me any tech support and history of the build. The fact that he was willing to support his product for the buyer and seller down the line made the decision to buy very clear.

I'd strongly recommend these guys if you want to protect that big investment. I'm happy to be in the 450hp club with the help of Mase of Stage 6( awesome tuner)!

You bought AirborneS2K's car right? Good buy for sure! That car was well setup and has almost exactly the setup I hope to be running in the next month or so... plus it was CHEAP for the amount of mods that it had done. Congrats and welcome!

Yes, I have AirboneS2K's old car. It was a good deal for both. Some minor things needed to be done, but overall it was a well built, tuned and taken care of. AirborneS2K is a good guy and kept her in good shape.

When are you going to complete your set up? Are you going with the bigger intercooler etc?

I'll have it done by mid-febuary or early march. I am in the process of aquiring my kit right now. I have a fully built Alaniz head with 1mm oversized valves, the larger 750hp InlinePRO intercooler, the InlinePRO 3" exhaust, ect... I'm installing my 3mm HG and head soon and then the turbo setup. I plan on running the Aquamist Water/Meth injection system as well... shooting for good mid range numbers and a max of around 500hp. I have the GT3076R w/ .82 A/R same as you right?

Yes, most things are the same. I'd like to look into the water/meth injection and think it'll be time for the carbonfiber clutch soon. It sounds like with some good tuning you could be well into the 500's. Nice!

Where are you running the car? I live in S.Fla. and am going to look into a bigger fan to try and run cooler during the 90 degree heat. I can tell you the turbo set up does make things a little warmer under the hood. Ambient heat is as they say down here "no bueno".

In Line pro is top notch. I have a similar old Speed craft setup and I am welllll into the 500s. Ya is awesome and did my block for me. I have heard nothing but good stuff about in line except having to cut the frame rail.

If you want more HP get their 880s like I have. Very driveable and lots of fuel!

Thanks for the note jcarlton! Did you replace the rear? What clutch are you running? No doubt Inline has the best set ups, but with lots of power comes lots of stress on the rear. Have you had any issues?

I have Precision 1000cc injectors and the AEM Peak and Hold injector driver. I am running dual FAL fans and the Koyo racing radiator to help with cooling. My clutch is the Exedy six puck Cerametalic mated to the Toda lightweight flywheel and pressure plate... I also have a custom intake manifold made from the stock piece, it has been welded and bored to 70mm and had 4lbs of aluminum shaved off of it. Then I had it polished, Looks BLING! BTW I'm in Nebraska! 105 Degree highs in the summer and -10 lows in the winter. Gotta love it!
