Default Which Throttle Body for 07 CTSC s2k

So im looking for a throttle body for my 07 1220sl CTSC s2000. Most people suggest the SOS (which i cant find) or the Skunk2.
What is the difference between the pro series and the alpha series? Is it worth the price?

Any used ones for sale? didnt see any...

I wouldn't bother with the mod, but if you must, here's the SOS unit

why would you not bother with it????
I am tuned on flashpro but my power band has a few dips in the power... around 3700 rpm and around 4500 rpm and even has shity throttle response getting off the line!
it just bogs off the line unless i ref it up and start to dump the clutch.

Very annoying for a DD....

was thinking a test pipe, better injectors then these rc650, throttle body, and a tune!!!

Are you custom tuned or have a base tune loaded from comptech?

A larger TB isn't going to fix your issue. Sounds like you have a poor tune (assuming your fuel system is up to par)

It was tuned by a shop here in so cal before I bought the car and the fuel system is all stock other then the injectors.

I know the TB wount fix it but is it worth buying and putting on before i go get a tune?

If you are attempting to fix your shitty throttle response, bogging issues and the dips of power in the rpms then get the car retuned by a reputable tuner that knows what they are doing. Tell them your issues and they should be able to look into them and eliminate them. You have an 06 running Flashpro, right. You can adjust the throttle response and fix those issues. How do I know? I have an 07 Vortech charged, custom tuned on Flashpro and my car doesn't have any of those issues. :-)

You mentioned above that you have an 06 yet your profile says you own a 00, which one is it?

Are you in Socal, if so where a-bouts in Socal(I'm in Socal too) and can set you up with my tuner if you are interested to look at your issues.

PM me to continue this conversation if you are interested.
