WHOA. does the ticking get faster as you rev it? oh and thats not ticking, thats f@#king clanking and clunking.

the finger at the end is what i woulda done too. plus a loud f@#k you S2K.

motor is not toast, its 100% coming from the timing chain area by the central gear, honestly the ticking sounds more pronounced on the video, its like my iphone didnt pick up the exhaust sound at all and just focused on the ticking, and the ticking is irregular too, def feels like the timing chain is loose which makes me thing its the guide on the non tct side, gonna take the cover off today, is it possible to take the cover off with out removing the pan?

That is what my Mac boost solenoid sounded like when the Kpro kick it on at idle. But coming from the area that you pointed out I am sure that not it.

that ticking is really bad....if it doesnt go away with you starting without the drive belt it has to be internal.....

ill try starting it with out the drive belt after work thanks guys, so frustrating trying to track this down

yeah my mac solenoid made a ticking and i thought the motor was f@#ked lol. mac boost was ticking, and it was hitting the frame so it sounded way louder then it rreally was. but yours ehh, idk. i def want to know if it speeds up when motor is revved.

I really dont know, Ill check it tonight after work, its weird bc it ticks irregularly, not a conatant tick, you can hera it change speeds in the vid just at idle

hard to hear it when sitting in the drivers seat, Ill have my friend rev it and ill take more video later tonight
