i was just wondering this also I haven't ever seen something that tells me to replace it but i have over 100k and i know chains don't really need replaced but even on motorcycles over time they streach out and need replaced. has anyone ever broken a chain.

i havent torn down enough s2000 motors to know, but nearly every high mileage k-series motor seems to have a good ammount of chain stretch.

if its off i'd replace it.

I've never seen a bmw or mercedes chain that ever needed to be replaced, and I tore down lots of them. I think a little bit of stretch is okay, that's what the TCT is for.
