I need street radials that are good in rain ans I found that gforce kdws work the best.
I had kdws...deff no good in the rain or even in the cold...right now im waiting on my axles to arrive sl i can try out these kumho xs
The XS wont be any better in the wet or cold. They are a dry tire compound And they need to be warm. Think R comp.

Obviously R comps are going to hook up best in the dry shy of DR. But then your ability to balance that with adverse weather is null. Extreme summers wont hook in the dry as well as R comps and many of them aren't all that great in the colder temps either. At 400trq+ in this car, you cant get a tire to get traction in all conditions, you have to choose one and baby the car in the others or don't drive it at all. To me an Extreme Summer or R comp makes the most sense, if you like to turn the car at all. If all you care about is the best launch ability on the highway when a Z06 pulls up next to you or 1/4 drags on the weekends and no mountain carving with friends, then DR could be gotten away with.

I agree. I have extreme summer tires on my RPF1's for enjoying the car and taking turns and I have a set of M/T ET streets on a set of rear AP1's to enjoy the straight line power. I tried to find a tire that I could do both with but I wasn't happy with anything I tried. Having different sets of wheels and tires for the different driving needs was the best solution for me and a few other people I know.

Im in the EXACT same situation. RPF1`s with RS3`s will be on for cruising around town, going to car shows, and casual weekend driving. But before we all go out to the street races or go to the track I will be stopping home and putting the stock ap1 rears on with some MT ET Street drag radials or may try the new M&H drag radials!
