Titanium Retai
Ive done the research and even 2 of the top tuners that I trust the most have different opinions on Titanium retainers. While say that they are completely safe and reliable for a DD, others say they will wear down and gall very quickly. I am aware of the benefits of Titanium but am not totally sure of the long term reliability of Titanium.
Whats the concensus here? Is it a bad idea to run them on a DD due to galling or is that a small percentage of isolated cases? I was offered a beautiful Supertech Dual spring and Ti retainer kit for a very nice price so im undecided as what to do.

I just posted this in the other thread...
But have you ever seen anyone post pics of a galled or broken TI retainer?
In 10 years on this forum as well as honda-tech and others i think I have seen maybe 2 posts showing damaged TI retainers.

Agreed, i am not a professional opinion and I want to make sure I have the facts before I actually install them. I think I have only seen one or two pictures of Ti retainers that went bad. Maybe its one of those things that many people do and have no problems but dont say anything.
