Your list looks pretty good, seems like you have allocated more then enough for everything in your budget. I would just add a GM 3 bar map sensor to the list since you will have a headgasket and will be boosting more then 10psi more then likely. Depending on your power goals have you thought of going with a 2mm headgaset instead? It would have better off-boost response and a few people have sworn that they seal a lot better then the 3mm. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the comment. I read that the Cometic gaskets are not liked nearly as well as the Inline Pro which only makes a 3mm. I'm definitely open to suggestions, but have been recommended to get the IP 3mm gasket.

Ryan,

Get yourself a GM 3 bar map sensor, and a GM boost control solenoid (both are cheap!). Let the AEM control boost for you. If you are getting injectors, run 1000cc's. The cost isn't that much of a difference, and you shouldn't need to ever change them out(unless you are getting really crazy). A stock Honda resistor box will work fine(unless you want to spend $400 on an injector driver). Keep the stock diff. untill it blows (mine was holding 475 with just the comptech reinforcement...)
Just my $.02

Good luck with it bro

Thanks a lot for the help. Appreciate any feedback from anyone! I figured that the 1000cc's would be harder to tune and that the 750s would be plenty for 450whp. I dont plan on going above that and if I do, I will change out the injectors. I have an AP2 diff, so it should hold longer than an AP1s would.

Gauges arent a priority. I already have a boost gauge and will get an EGT gauge. Other than that, the UEGO will be plenty.

I wasnt sure how much the tuning was with the EMS. How much is the average cost for a tune do you guys think? I only looked for a minute and found the pump for $125. Does anyone have a link to what the kit consists of? A friend of mine has a brand new one that he got for his RSX and I am unsure if it is the same thing. Where is an AEM FS for $900?

I think your budget estimates are right on. Only things I would add (as some others have already mentioned): 3 Bar map, electronic boost controller (I have the Greddy Profec B Spec II, and like it alot), and water temp (AEM will not drive the stocker), oil temp, oil press and AFR gauges.

To simplify, u could just go with the new AEM 19 in 1 serial gauge, which can do all of the above.

BTW, I am also on the stock FPR. No issues.

1000 bucks seems about right for the tune. My tuner wanted 900, which they then reduced to 700 for having them order and install some of the parts (ems, map sensor, boost control solenoid, injectors).

I picked up my walbro off ebay for like 90 bucks.
