Thanks. We spoke awhile back. I had my first S2000 in SEMA the same year as you. on the nice set-up. Geoff suggested a similar set-up to yours for me.

Do you also still have the stock map sensor? Thanks a lot!

Ryan
No I don't have the stock map sensor but the new one is in the factory spot and working fine. Same goes with the fpr. Tony from T1 didn't have any issues with and sure Geoff didn't either. They both have ran lots of stock FPR's on these and other cars. The duty cycle is low on my inejectors but I also went big because of the boost the car sees on race gas. I have over 2k onthe car now with no issues other than a loosened turbo bolt on the manifold to turbo (but who doesn't in Washington). I do know that just about 90% of the turbo guys if not more are running FPR's. Not to say it isn't a bad thing or a good thing just that they do. I asked if I needed one and I was told as long as the fuel set-up and fuel map is done right and the set-up is put together correctly for the task and power goals the stock unit will do more than its job. So far no complaints.

Anyone have a link to a 3bar map sensor and GM boost control solenoid? I want to see pricing.

i know the gm solenoid cost me about 35 dollars, and the pigtail was about 15 dollars. I personally would go with the aem one. I had two of the gm ones fail on me on my evo.

I'm in your same shoes. Just got turbo and my car needs a little fine tuning. Tuning cost shouldnt be near $1000 IMO. Should only take 4-5 hours worth.

Yes, you will need a new map sensor. I went with AEM 3.5bar map sensor just because I know it's quality and won't break on me. The last thing I want to happen is having to replace things because I didn't do it right the first time.

I too am running the Greddy Profec B Spec II. I went with this for several reasons 1) Electronic boost controller will allow me run low/hi boost. Low for running around town and hi for running the town. 2) it beeps and turns red when it hits limit that i set to 3) it looks clean and simple and small 4) my tuner said it was easier to control boost through an aftermarket unit rather than the AEM EMS

As I sit right now:
InlinePro Turbo
- GT35r
- 3mm HG
- Oil Filter relocation kit
RC 750s
AEM 3.5Bar Map Sensor
AEM EMS
AEM UEGO
Greddy Profec B Spec II Boost Controller
HTG Clutch Kit
Stock FPR

387rwhp@14psi ... still running fat, not fine tuned yet. I only get 180miles to a full tank. Don't know how much timing for I wasn't there. Goal is 450rwhp as well. Plan is to have 380-390rwhp for low boost, and 450rwhp for high boost. 2nd gear is useless, and when I'm fully tuned, 3rd gear will prolly be useless as well.
