i had 470whp on my old set-up and i dont think it was controlable when the power kicked for the AutoX

no, phil you are not wrong at all or going in the wrong direction. Boost by gear is THE BEST way to be able to control your traction problems.

Wow 610 thats insane!! oh and to think that I was a bit worried about the diff handling 350-400 whp. I cant believe your diff is surviving. And no traction to 120 thats insane. S2000Junky, I said that is the best method to get traction. I didnt say its my method=) I would rather be in ontrol of my car fully and like the idea of losing traction at points. I was just stating that BBG is the best way to get traction.
