Traction Question - FI question

I was in a slight sweep to the left and I went through a section of the freeway that had a dip in it. It just felt like it rebounded a lot in the rear, bringing the rear higher than I felt comfortable with.
I wasn't doing a "ricer fly bye" I was just teaching a lesson to someone who did a ricer fly by to what he thought was a stock S2000.
You are very right about the stiffness and now that I think about it I will NOT be making it stiffer. I had it stiffer in the rear a few months back and was having issues with the rear kicking out on tight turns so I went to a softer setting.. Guess I just need a better set of coilovers that I can adjust rebound on.

Ricer wing helps a ton, I just put one on.... wow it sticks you to the ground at high speeds. I was up in the 140's and 150's last night and the thing is solid --- APR C/F wing is what I ended up putting on. I will post pictures someday.
ya acutally serious
sorry Had to put one on. I def had my reservations due to the look factor.... but... after getting it, I do like the look and the performance is well worth it. Did a front splitter with big wing. Had it up in the 140's again today and hit a little bit of bump and it just takes it like a champion.
Now I finaly understand when I watch those Japan viedos and they are on like one lane roads and hooking curves and shit at high speeds... it is def doable with different down force mods.

Yeah I'm sure they work. I just can't quite stomach the looks or the swift hand of the law when they catch me at those speeds. Someone else will be living in my house at that point when they haul me off, and my baby is out in a wrecking yard somewhere with a tarp over it waiting to get bid on
I just kind of weigh out the pros and cons of the wing
I actually have the second best thing which is a rear diffuser. I run front and side splitters as well. A little more stealthy and I like the look.

that sounds like a great idea as well... how well does it work? do you have pictures? Let me know
But I'm sure they are functional, just haven't been able to measure to what degree over stock. They cost me $1100 total worth of aluminum, special fabricating cost I could not perform at home and powder coating, so it would be nice if they did something other then look bad ass if I don't say so myself
I don't think you can make out the front and side splitters in my avatar pic very well since they are black, but the rear diffuser is where its at and I have some additional new pieces at the powder coat shop as we speak. I had some pics posted last year but the host went down. I've done a few more mods this year such as rear wheel widening with 295's and such and will have to get some pictures up and posted when the car is back together this spring. Look forward to sharing those
