Default Trying to decide on Gear ratio 3.9 or 4.10?

Hey guys I am about to switch over to a Ford 8.8" and am having trouble deciding if I want a 3.9 or 4.10 ring and pinion ratio. Who on here has tried the 3.9 and how much power are you making? Did it improve times? I am afraid that if I go with the 3.9 with my current power level (515whp) It will kill my acceleration...although it would keep me from having to shift to 5th gear. I plan to up the power later on down the road.

i would go with the 3.9, with all that power you want longer gears, also it will help with traction

3.90

Makes for a more settled street car and should allow you to pass the traps in 4th.

Good i think i'll give the 3.9 a try then. Looks like Richmond Gears is one of the only companies that makes it? Any places have a good deal on them?

Yea the 4.10 with 26" is perfect for my power level now, but once I go to higher power even at 9500 rpm I will need to shift at 133mph. I guess this will be more incentive to up the power!
