Who's hating?

Look at the photos of his engine -- I see the stock FPR. If he's using larger injectors I think he as had ample opportunity to state that and we could end this debate once and for all.

If questioning his results and asking questions (many of which have been completely ignored) is hating, then I give up.

One question that I would love to get an honest response on is what SAE correction factor was used on the dyno.

I posted this yesterday:

http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm

Go there and do the math yourself. Don't forget to calculate for crank horsepower and 45-55 for the fuel pressure. You tell us how this works.

Asking questions about results that don't make any sense is not hating.

so what type of fuel math would be nessisary to run those numbers? What fuel pressure and what injectors?

(addtionally isnt it possible for different brand injectors to have a variance in output? I have seen this in the case of oem domestic injectors vs aftermarket)

instead of hating and calling BS you guys should try and explore all possibilties. Because I am sure there IS a reason why he achived these numbers. Hell maybe he forgot to add in his mod list a FPR or something Or got his injector sizing wrong :/
Or got his boost wrong....................

Wow, those are some very high #'s for 6psi!?! I'm glad to hear that you got it tuned though... I remember back when you posted a few questions and you said it wasn't tuned, but you were driving the car.

Justin why don't you ask the tuner from the shop who did it to elaborate on the tune...the duty cycle....a/f's etc....

Also, this was not a one time test dyno to get high HP this is my daily driven WHP and WTQ. I have another dyno sheet showing the countless times I was above 380WHP and then finally got 392WHP.

May have missed some things IDK, but you get the idea...

Forgot to add the Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump. BTW, if you guys start crying about me forgeting well check at the bottom of the original post stated might have forgotten some things.

FYI.

If his setup was as efficient as the stock motor but you assumed 2x pressure = 2x power (the same assumption used with AEM's boost comp fueling strategy), then he would have 354 horsepower at the crank with 7 psi.

RC Engineering generally uses SUPER conservative calculations for fueling. People do much more than they say is possible every day. Their calculations are large so that you have more fuel system than you need, not less.

Precision turbo claims 376 hp for their 550 cc injectors at 90% duty cycle, 43.5 psi of fuel pressure, and a BSFC or 0.50.

Different dynos can mean wildly different numbers. Some (dynojet), are known for using correction factors that automatically adjust your numbers upward. On that dyno on that day, those numbers are completely possible. On another dyno on another day, who knows. I'm guessing that on a Dyno Dynamics, he would be nowhere near 390 whp.

What you do have to admit is that his setup is probably MUCH more efficient than most setups. The large, cold compressor inlet is a HUGE plus. The exhaust manifold and turbo choice are both very efficient. You cannot underestimate the inlet conditions on the turbo or the outlet conditions for the cylinder head. The stock compression would also be a large plus.

I was also thinking the air intake is very nice looking
I am really starting to like the FR mani...

If anything, this thread is entertaining
