Do you guys think the power he got could be higher because of the gear that they did the pull on? In the one video it looks like they did it in 4th gear and then in the other video (unless he started recording late) looks like it was 3rd gear. Just a thought.
Nope.

It wouldn't make that much difference.

I agree that there is no way 550cc injectors will make that power. You would be way lean. And that's math, you can't argue it.
Right.

The fuel math does not work.

I did not see an aftermarket FPR in his mod list, so at stock fuel pressure there is no way to make that much power.

Even with an aftermarket adjustable FPR and cranking up the pressure you cannot make it work, even driving the 550's to 95% duty.

Go here:

http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm#WORKSHEET

And calculate it for yourself. In addition, do not forget to calculate the crank horsepower when you do figuring 15-17% driveline loss.

people are getting very bent out of shape over this. Nobody has questioned the dyno operator or dyno calibration yet? I would look there first.

You're right. I should just drive up there (not too far away) and dyno my car.

I would pull 455whp with my current setup on pump gas and call it a day.

LOL Same here!

I want a graph that says I'm putting down 455 whp on 9.75 psi too.

I'll prolly make the trip up to dyno as well cuz I just dyno'd 331rwhp @ 9psi on my vortech. I should be making 331rwhp with 6psi imo.

One question from my tuner:

What was the SAE correction factor on the DynoJet?
