the evo and sti guys that i've met in cheyenne and denver swear by it. my tuner even says it's pretty good if you wanna up the boost and make a bit more power. most of the cars he tunes, he makes an extra map on e-85 for them just in case. personally i don't want to put that corn pone shit in my car but... in the end who knows. where you located at ?

Since it contains alcohol and alcohol is corrosive, your fuel lines would corrode I would think, unless your system is flushed out periodically.

I think the 2 requirements to run this fuel is to have a stainless steel fuel tank which should be/is standard on all cars and the use of Teflon lined fuel hoses

s2guru - Jeremy in the springs has tuned multiple cars with E85. you might want to get a hold of him.

Alcohols also have a tendency to pull water though for the purposes of combustion the amounts are probably negligible (in chemistry reactions they are not). However I am curious about long term storage (e.g. pump stations) and and the QC/QA of E85.

Have a friend that had a suby that ran E85. Had two separate tunes and loved the corn stuff. Said E85 made his car feel like it was running on a dry, bright cold winter day when it was really the middle of summer with blistering heat and oppressive humidity. Ran more boost and with no detonation. He was data logging as well.

If we had more stations here, I'd run it. We'd have to run a larger injector. I forget the calculation off the top of my head. Would kind of rule out using the aem piggy back though since you can't remap closed loop (unless you fooled the piggy back with the size injector you're using to compensate I think)
