Tuning Stock CTENG S/C?
Ok I have read numerous articles saying the piggyback that works for the ct engineering supercharger kit works fine for its purpose. However I am constantly under fire for having the car not tuned. Is there any horror stories involved with not getting the kit tuned? Heres what I have:
-NOVI 1000 blower
-CT FPR
-SOS Piggyback (It works LOL)
-01 S2K
-AEM Wideband.
-Stock Pulley for kit
My AFRs look ok (11-12 at WOT, 14-15 at idle/cruise). Is there any reason to get an EMS (AEM Infinity on my shopping list)? Im sure it will be a hell of alot better with a proper tune, but is the 2k+ justifiable? Also has anyone successfully street tuned on these kits? If I can find a way to properly street tune then I more than likely will get the EMS, but if it has to be tuned to make it work ill probably keep with the piggyback for now. I have no plans on upping the boost any time soon. Thanks alot!
