Running off the wastegate you will see about 7-8 lbs in the summer and a little more in the winter.

I use the AEM Tru boost you can control the boost with it. Also has helped me with boost creep as well. I would say get it. A must? no sir, but def good to have.

You need a Boost controller to get anything above the wastegate spring pressure. If WG is 7PSI you will get 7PSI you need a controller to turn it up, the E-Manage will not do this for you. (nor will any other EMS) With the GReddy kit you will need to run around 11-12 PSI to achieve 300WHP. If you have a Catalytic Converter or a stock exhaust, don't expect anything over 280WHP. (If that) If you are planning to run more than 10 PSI buy a new MAP sensor now. Unless you want to pay for another tune.

The map sensor can only be a greddy boost sensor if using a EMU.

i would say you need it. anything can happen and you want to have access to control it for variables if or when needed.

if youre iffy about spending money on a boost controller, just pick up a cheap mechanical boost controller. They do they job fine for what you'll be working with.... you can get fancier later.

(im selling a manual boost controller in my fs thread on my sig by the way)

good luck
