Default turbo build

okay so I am starting to part together a turbo set up and would love some input on it. i have an 04 s2000. that starts my first question should i change my electronics to an 06 or newer or leave it alone. how many parts do you have to change to convert it if thats the better idea to go with. is it just the ecu and throttle body or am i going to have to change the wiring harness too?

parts list so far....any suggestions please feel free
gt 3076r with a .82A/R with a v band connector with a divided exhaust housing
tail 44mm wastgate
precison 650cc saturated injectors
walboro 255 fuel pump
hks blow off valve
spearco intercooler

who makes a good piping kit for the s2000?and what kind of engine management is good.

For intercooler piping on my Eclipse I made it myself. I just bought aluminum piping from a vendor on ebay, cut it to fit brought the sections to an aluminum welder and then bead rolled and polished it. It came out absolutly amazing. I wish I had pics lying around so I could post them up. It wasn't expensive at all either. All piping was 2.5".

From the looks of things you seem to have a pretty good setup so far. Go with the AEM for tuning.

You can look on ebay for piping kits. I think there are a few here and there on the FS section. However, if you are going the custom turbo kit route, you are going to need custom piping as well so a standard 'kit' won't work for you.

Ok I will answer a few of your questions:
1: To go to dbw or 06+ setup you need to change all the wiring in your car and some sensors for the vsa and what not.
It is not a likely choice for you.

2: If you running a divided exhuast your going to need a divided turbo manifold and 2 wastegates.

3: Depending on the power you want to make its a smarter choice to go with 1000cc injector dynamics injectors from the begining as they will be smoother than those precisions and will let you go up to 600 whp.

4: You can go kpro or aem. Most choose aem for 00-05 cars. Its cheaper than kpro

5: There are no real i/c piping kits as every manifold is going to put the turbo in a different place. You might as well pickup a used kit and go from there.

People are making 600+ whp on stock unopened motors. No need for race gas. Either 85, if you have it locally, meth/water or 93 octane.

Go with water/alc injection. can't go wrong. If I can find the link to the website that has a diy on building your own setup, ill post it bc it makes the kit uber cheap.

Sir you have very modest goals, like others have said you can definitely hit 450whp on pump. Also if your gonna piece the kit together for example you get a p-fab mani then buy there intercooler setup from that company cause all intercoolers will sit in different places depending on the mani or just buy a kit and you will have no worries. Take a look at ptuning, mase's and p-fab kits i like all 3 of those personally nvm i just saw you already started collecting parts.
