I'm not sure atm - we're going to put that heat cloth over the manifold, and thermotec tape over the lines/wires. I'm going to vent my OEM hood to help with heat also. I guess I'll see how that goes and see if I even need a head shield. The fuse box isn't mounted yet, so we're going to put it in a place far away from the heat of the turbo.

One question, what is the purpose of the Hondata IMG?

Thanks! The Hondata IMG is a silicone/plastic type thick gasket that separates the intake manifold from the head. It is thick, and insulates the heat in the engine and prevents the heat from moving to the intake manifold by conducting through the regular metal gasket.

It keeps the IM cooler, and thus your intake charge is much cooler.

Michael and his friend Matt are. We should definitely hook up, let me know. Maybe we can get a crew together to go for a little drive or something up in the mountains.

BTW, how'd you like his clutch install. Everything work out ok? Are you going back to get the diff put in?

I'm not sure what the formula D is, what's that?

Its about time bro. Let me know when the dyno tune is I want to come and check that out. I was at the blockbuster grabbing a movie today and I noticed my car sitting in the parking lot of the honda dealership. Curious as I didn't get a phone call on Saturday, I just happened to have my key fob in the pocket so I walked over to check it ou and the motor is back together. I should be picking her up tomorrow and I will fill everyone in on the costs of everything. I did see the exhaust valves in the passenger seat and I am sure I'll get all the details in the morning on what they think happened. Anyway not to hijack. Good luck with that monster...
