Default turbo f20c miata

Not sure if anyone here would be interested is this or not, but figured I would post it anyway.

I would like to thank pang, without his help, this project would still be just an idea.

Looks awesome! I'd be interested in seeing pics of the crossmember and mounts and how you went about that.

If you look on the sides of the engine you can see the motor mounts

Engine mounts were pretty straight forward to fabricate. I had the engine and transmission located in the car where I wanted them. The engine was sitting on wood spacers located on top of the skid plate and also supported by a hoist. plates were fabricated and bolted to the engine. Then the rubber engine mounts were bolted to the sub frame, and a plates bolted to them. After this was done, I used a file folder and cut template that fit between the plate on the engine and the plate on the engine mount. All that was needed at this point was to transfer the pattern to plate steel cut out the pieces, tack them into place and weld them up.

Here are a few sots of the thermal ceramic coating

The curve is very linear, very easy to drive. 1st and 2nd are worthless at wot, but that's okay it gives me something to work on..
