Turbo fitting issues
Okay, well here's the deal. I had orginally used a t4 turbo that was off of an s13 and it was working well. It was coupled with a Revhard manifold and the only issue I had was that it slightly rubbed up against the side wall and did not hit the motor mount. Anyways, that turbo went to custard so I had to get a new one. I then bought a brand new t3/t04 stage 3 with a .63 housing and 60 trim and tried to get that thing in and once matted up to the Revhard Manifold, it butts up against the motor mount. Once that thing pitches with the revs, I can forsee the bolts on the head getting sheered right off.
Is anyone else using this manifold and what turbo are you using? I was under the impression that heaps of people were using these manifolds with a similar turbo with no issues.
Also, I was looking into getting a sidewinder or the full race but am wondering where most of you relocate the battery with the FR. I've see some actually put a smaller battery on that cross bar section in front of the rad. is this a good idea?
