Why did you have it done in the sterling? Its only good up to 1600 degrees.

S2Kyle01 = All it does to the charge pipes is keep them EVEN cooler than without coating...

Phillie = I got it done in the sterling because I am also going for looks on my car! I think the bright sterling makes the pipes look badass!!!

PLUS, 1600degrees is better than NO coating at all!!!

and i'm not too sure how hot the pipes do actually get, but none of the coating has came off! So it might not even get to that much.

Turbo manifolds heat to excess of 2000 degrees F and there has been threads before stating that the 1600 degree coating had flaking issues after extended use...

[QUOTE=Spoolin,Mar 13 2007, 07:16 AM] I just got my turbo manifold and turbine housing back from Jet-Hot and it looks pretty good.

This coating is good to 2400

How in the hell does coating help spool up.
by keeping the exhaust heat IN the piping as opposed to letting it soak into the engine bay... hotter exhaust has a higher velocity therefore moves away from the turbo faster and in effect make the exhaust more efficient and free flowing...
