Default Turbo Manifold

Im running the UR turbo kit and looking to get a better manifold. I have a 38 mm TIAL wastegate, so that puts out the love fab manifold. Right now im lookin at the RevHard cast manifold. Does anyone suggest anything else that i might have overlooked

wtf...the rev hard manifold would be more of a downgrade than an upgrade.

You're fine with the UR...the only production upgrade would pretty much be the lovefab.

What about the Full Race manifold? How does it compare to the Lovefab? Does the Full Race require mods to fit?

the FR manifold requires an oil filter relocation kit, which you have, which our manifold doesnt need.
Other then that, the battery has to be relocated from the pictures Ive seen. Our manifold, you can just use a smaller battery.
Also, we CAN weld a 38mm flange on there, but you are on your own for the downpipe. Either way, youll have to get the downpipe custom made because our downpipes only work with OUR turbos(ask "flexer" on here about this, lol).
Its all relative. You can get a manifold AND downpipe made from us for the same price as just a manifold from FR.

grab a lovefab mani and DP.... Full Race is awesome, but they also will only sell you one if you plan on having them install it due to the amount of work it is to keep it a clean install. You can always have Cody (Tinker) make you a custom mani if you had the cash to spend on a FullRace... JMO...

You also need to have full-race modify the turbo if you buy it yourself or purchase a turbo from them as well as have them do the whole install.

Not true. Full Race will sell you a manifold. I know, I bought one from them. But the install with a Full Race manifold is not easy. Not only will you have to relocate the battery (mine is in the trunk), but you will have to relocate the heater control valve and associated hoses. Also you will have to either drastically bend the AC tubing or remove it. I chose the latter. One last item to consider: The full race manifold generates a lot of heat. You should either have it ceramic coated or have a custon heat shield built.

Thanks fperra, that's what I needed to know. Have you done any dyno runs with the full race manifold versus any others?

I know you have one, and I know they sold maybe 2 others to people for personal installation, but from my understanding, they are no longer doing this because of complications during the install... I seem to remember Geoff saying something to this extent...
