Default Turbo Manifold/Turbo Questions

What's going on guys? Been building my AP1 and am having a hard time doing this "custom" build. I'm planning on using a Turbonetics Hurricane turbo and the turbo manifold (http://www.ultimatemotorx.net/tuma20hos2.html) says supports T3 based turbos. So should I run the 6665-3? http://www.turboneticsinc.com/turboc...-turbochargers

Please any imput will be beneficial.

Yes sir, the 3 in the end mean T3. I had a 6665 T3 last year and loved it. Depends on hp in the end, this turbo will easy push 750-800hp on E85.
These turbos are very compact and restricted by housing size more than wheel size but still very good.

If you have lower goals you should pick a smaller one but not by much, loved to have max power at 9500rpm when most smaller turbos drop off before you do.
This engine loves big turbines, go with .82 like the one on 6665.

full race clone for 520$ not bad considering theres a lifetime warranty, u prob wont be able to fit that turbo with that manifold with out some modification to the frame

I know that isn't a Full Race Ramhorn, but doesn't it have problems with boost creep, sorry to thread jack, just curious.

thanks for all the input guys!

I think the biggest problem that i'll be having with the build isnt the turbo or engine, it will be the rear end. The car it self when i bought it was in real bad shape. The guy i bought it off of had the car turbo'd but the car was in pieces.

I dont plan on using E85, well at least not yet.
as for the turbo manifold, any idea on where you heard of the boost creep?

the elbow for the wastegate is at a poor angle and the exhaust wants to just flow past it into the turbine, full race resolved this in later versions of the manifold by creating a larger angle on the elbow, but that manifold u got there looks like the old version

Do you think it will be worth getting the manifold for half the price or get the full race?

and how much whp do you think it will make on 93 octane?

i also want to know how much psi these turbos can go up to
