So i got on my car today and it built no boost what so ever, The turbo does not even spool, but does spin and not make any crazy noises.


No oil anywhere

all couplings connected

all hoses connected

wastegate is not stuck open



idk what else to look for...

 

I had this problem and it was a broken diaphragm in my blow off valve.. I just got it replaced yesterday.
Make sure the turbo to manifold bolts arent loose also.

 

crazy noises? are the blades hitting the housings? are the housing bolts tight? if the turbo is brand new the bolts might not have been tightened. but you should still see some boost if that was the case, unless of course the wheels are hitting the housings then your turbo is f'ed and you wouldnt get any boost lol

 

Check for boost leaks. The turbo won't spool without the feedback loop.

 

makes me worry about buying an S2K with a turbo on it.

I did. The previous owner beat the piss out of it, was not nice to it, and didn't take care of it. It was an expensive mistake. Lesson learned. At least now I can build it how I want it. Still need a bigger turbo/manifold and injectors.

 

We all got to learn. Hell I bought a domestic lol
