Default Turbo Performance Kit

I saw this kit on line, but I am not sure if this kit is any good?

http://www.turbo-performance.com/index.htm

just asking I guess. I want to go turbo...just wondering what setup will be the best for daily driven. like 6psi. I don't want to do any internals or anything. I have an emanage for fuel managment. I am just looking for some extra hp with the turbo.

I just called them they said they put down 320 to the wheels at 7psi. They are sending me all the info in the mail with dyno plots. He says only 3800 for the kit. which seams resonable. I prefer the turbo in the front more working room imo. just looking for some more information.

I've seen it before. Not too impressed with the looks of it or the parts. There are some very good kits out there now, I'd stay away from that one.

the bottom line with anything always amounts to "you get what you pay for".... I don't know why anyone would want a velocity stack aimed back at the block, but hey, I guess there has to be someone for them to sell them... the front mount manifold looks like it kicks the turbing at an angle too, anyone I've seen make a manifold to put the turbine in front of the block keeps it straight... I wouldn't buy this...

That looks like a half assed attempt at packaging the kit.

your looking for alot of answers, and the best one would be to read... there are a multitude of threads debating the current selection of availible kits, not to mention many threads about reliability issues, etc. with certain kits... The only front mounted turbo setups I've seen were custom built to yeild 500+ HP... and these were from a couple years ago, at least, when they were initially fabbed... if you want above average performance, and an all inclusive package (superb engine management, injectors, etc.) then research the LoveFab kit. My advice, unless you have bundles of cash hidden under your bed or a bomb proof motor build, don't be a test dummy...

Also, on a side note, the only person I know with a rev hard kit, is actually in the process of switching everything provided with the kit (and I mean everything) to custom pieces... I don't think he was overly pleased with the performance... and he had it on his car for a while...
