I'm not really feeling the UR kit. 2.5" DP? Frickin' emanage? Oil filter relocation? There seem to be a lot of compromises. The Lovefab is the only one that seems to be just about everything I'd do myself if I had any real fabrication skills (unless bending a nitrous solenoid bracket is considered fabrication lol). Go custom or go home.

Doesn't the LoveFab kit require you to move some AC lines around? Any other compromises?

BTW, I would use the quality of the Turbo Performance's other kits to benchmark whether or not you want to go with them.

With regards to being front mounted turbo. I'm not a big fan of those for the following reasons:

1) longer manifold means more heat everwhere in the engine bay where lotsa plastic and accessories could be affected

2) You're moving a big chunk of weight past the front axle, defeating original S2000 50:50, may get more understeer

3) More manifold and more manifold mean more weight.

Just some thoughts.

another thought I would have would be the weight distribution on the manifold, and if the gauge of steel used would be enough to support the weight of the turbine for an extended period of time without cracking due to heat and weight stressors...

Lovefab requires some minor modification i.e. bending, but no re-reouting the lines... battery must also be relocated, and the fuse box must be rotated and either soft tapped or you'll need a new bracket.. (I'm thinking of making one, so I might run off a few extra at some point... ) Minor inconveniences in comparison to what you get...

I admit it looks great, awesome collector. Especially if you don't have to replumb the oil filter.

With the turbo so high, up are there any problems with the hood, etc.

none that I have been made aware of, but personally, I've not recieved the kit yet... still waiting on the wastegate shipment...From what I saw with Tinker's car, there were no hood fitament issues...

i dont know about how complete that kit really is.

if you looka at the oil lines, you can see there are no fittings on the end, also the down pipe has no flange where it would mate to the cat so you need to get that cut and welded to fit.

EDIT

also it doesnt show a bigger fuel pump or injectors.
