If i sell the S i was thinking of moving down to Arizona with the money and if i sell the Camry i will either move or put money down on a AWD car. Audi A4, WRX, or something along those lines.

I dont know about that , the C5 still looks fresh compared to how the C4 became "80's" overnight.

I disagree. The c5 looks super outdated sitting next to a c6. Stock for stock of course.

wouldn't that mean that the c5 made the previous model look "so outdated"

Well, I got the nice house, boat, 2 suvs and a sport trac. But the kid is the game changer. Needing that back seat leaves a lot of cool cars out of the equation. Modding my car was fun but I always knew I was on borrowed time. Its seems like a couple of you are close to getting the home and starting a family. Just don't dump a ton of money into a car you may need to sell unless your keep the car or have the funds to play with.

I went as far as building a seperate garage so I could keep may car and my county made me take it down. So I sold the car, just did not have enough room.

My buddy had the 350z vert which is real nice.

FYI I did not have to pay for the removal of the garage, I made a change and the builder ate the difference. I made it more of a storage room with a garage door.

^ yea, I am glad I did the mods while I did, because there is no way I would spend the money now considering we are buying a house (have to sell one too, lol) but also we want to have a baby this year so I am thrilled I have the car to play with, but won't need to mod it much.

Im thinking of turboing my S if it doesnt sell over the winter so my questions to everyone are the following...

I want to make around 400-450 hp at high psi, is there a kit out there that is reliable for daily use and that is pretty much bolt-on?

Ive looked at a few sites for turbo kits such as greddy, inline-pro, and a few superchargers as well. Which is a better power adder when it comes to everyday use and power?

Is it cheaper to buy a kit or to build a custom one?

Is there a setup out there that anyone is running that they absolutely love and would recommend to everyone. All the way from which kit --> which exhaust and so on?

Im looking for any kind of information and I am relatively new to turbos and supercharger setups so please post any information good or bad. I have searched for some information but I see every setup is basically different.
Since you are new and don't know what you are doing at this point I will give you some pointers

B/C you are going to DD, you are wanting a decently amount of power, a complete kit I would say you have only have a few choices. You will find out through research that all the others are what we refer to a Tuner kits, you get the major components in a big box then you figure out the rest. There are pros and cons for each but I will let you do some searching first.

Ptuning with GT30R
SOS with all the Upgrades
Vortech Supercharger Kit

* Note to date Greddy is the only bolt on turbo kit however I will be installing the PTuning kit (not my car) which per my research and talking with the owner will be the second. As with all my other builds I will post detailed pictures and descriptions.

This point is debatable but I defiantly prefer a turbo due to the huge power under the curve it can make over a supercharger.

Of course you can piece something together that is cheaper than a new kit but this usually falls under the category "Pay Now or Pay More Later". I offer a few words of advice, when you choose a kit source all the parts you are going to need from them. This will ensure that you have one person to call with issues and they will be more apt to dig in and help. In addition they will also know all the tips and tricks to get you all the parts you will need and can ensure they will work together.

Again this is highly opinion based and not a good question to ask. Everyone likes their car just a bit different, I have found what I love on my car other hate and vise versa. If you want good answers you need to ask very specific questions with Yes or No answers or trust me you will get bad info. An example of this would be to rephrase, "Since I am daily driving the car and need to keep it mild is there an exhaust system that does not have a lot of resonance at idle?"

You are correct but the more you read and research the more you will be able to form generalities on each person, component and system. It will take some time but just pick one topic at a time and start researching. I am assure you that the best cars are driven by the most patient people, or they have LOTS of money.

Good Luck

You are in trouble old man, a house, kids.... You will be lucky if you even get to drive the S soon. You will be forced into minivan suburbon hell and your car will be like a caged demon suck under a cover in the garage. Mark my words you will soon be telling kids to get off you lawn and will have to change your screen name to Joey(WifeHasMyBallsInHerPurse), just ask me how I know.
