I don't think you needed 16 lbs of boost just to do that.

Yeah probably not, but it makes it more fun

I ran 10psi on stock compression for a few months and didn't have any problems. Just make sure that you retard the timing a bit. Start with like 14-15 degrees and then advance until you find the sweet spot. If I remember correctly I was at 17.5 degrees at 10psi. Right now she's at 16 degrees at 16psi on a 2mm gasket. I could add another 2 degrees easily, but I'm tryingto keep the motor around for awhile

Wow, I am at 18 degrees at the top end on 6 psi and at 332 whp on pump gas! I can't wait to try 18 on 10 psi next week; I may hit 450 whp with it that way.

Wow, please keep me posted with your results. I like your argument about the overall static compression still being lower with stock compression versus higher boost with 10:1 compression, it makes sense to me so i'm looking to turn it up to around 9psi.

Awesome!!! I just watch it like 4 times in a row. Are you running the GT3082R already? At what RPM do you reach full boost? What about lag? Do you feel a lot?

Yes I am on a GT3082 right now with a .63AR. Planning on going to a .82AR in the near future. Full boost is right around 4800 if I remember correctly. Lag isn't too bad, only takes a couple hundred rmp to spool up when I go WOT above 5k.
