Turbo S2000 Motor Mounts
i like those motor mounts also.... the innovative mounts are a pita to torque down cause the bolts that go through the subframe are just that, bolts... so theres no way to sit the motor in place and hold the bolt with a wrench cause theres no room. these vibra mounts are studded and would be way easier to install... id still use innocstive mounts for tranny and diff to finish things up!! to make things easier gor me, i had the bolt heads welded to the mount brackets to torque the nuts down...

There arn't a ton of good ways to verify. One is to slowly release the clutch with your handbrake on and see how much the motor moves. It shouldn't be more than 1/2" or so. If it is more than this there is a strong possibility that you may have a torn mount. You can also get under your car and inspect them although it isnt always clear if they are torn. Finally, if you take them out it will be obvious. If the motor isnt making any rattling sounds more thank likely your car is fine. Also, they may not be torn but they could be past their shelf-life. Some of these cars are getting up there in age and mileage. Rubber components wear out, especially ones that are stressed every single time you drive your car. Just food for thought.
Look for orange goo around the mounts. My exhaust side factory mount was in two pieces when I pulled it out! The exhaust side is typically the one that goes.

Miles ? Boosted miles ?
95k miles. No miles on boost, I replaced with Hasport 60a street mounts for 2k miles and then I bought a new oem mount and have the Ptuning mount on the exhaust side for my kit. The 60a's vibration was bad at first but mellowed out. Still definitely noticeable though
I learned the hard way that if u plan to drive your car on the street that you can only go with oem motor mounts. All aftermarket mounts even in the softest durmeter will still vibrate like crazy and be very unbearable to drive on a daily basic.
I use to have the hasport 62a motor mounts and after a month I couldn't stand them any more and put new oem mounts in.
I have a loud full 3 inch exhaust and I have been slamed lowered before and I can't life with aftermarket motor mounts.
I have has hasports and many after market mounts on my other cars such as my Evo and integra. They do vibrate more but are livable. But for the s2000 no aftermarket motor mount is livable.
