I use to have the hasport 62a motor mounts and after a month I couldn't stand them any more and put new oem mounts in.

I have a loud full 3 inch exhaust and I have been slamed lowered before and I can't life with aftermarket motor mounts.

I have has hasports and many after market mounts on my other cars such as my Evo and integra. They do vibrate more but are livable. But for the s2000 no aftermarket motor mount is livable.
I have to disagree. My vibra mounts are awesome. There is only a slight difference when the car first starts up. Around town I can feel them at all. I have put another 500 miles on the car since installing them and they have continued to settle further. Very stocklike idle.

I love the Hasport mounts on my S2k. I got the street/60A durometer. The key to making them livable is to increase the idle speed to 950rpms. Below that, and everything shakes like a mofo. But at 950rpms, everything smooths out, though you definitely know the mounts are in there mostly due to the noise (solid aluminum on the subframe, so no rubber to absorb the noise).

Also not only the fact that the vibration with any aftermarket motor mount the vibration is crazy unbearable that's not the worst part. The worst part is the sound. After installing the hasport 62a mounts the sounds in the cabin is so crazy loud. It's like as if your sitting inside the engine bay. With my crazy loud 3inch full turbo back exhaust I can't even hear my exhaust drone on the freeway. All I hear is the sound of the engine. I kid you not it's really like as if your sitting in the engine bay. The sound really is that bad.

If your car is not a full out race/track car stay away from any aftermarket motor mounts for the s2000.

Hmm... curious. I've driven a S2k with magnaflow mufflers in place of the stock mufflers and it was much louder than the engine mounts. It's far quieter than my old Nissan with a turbo SR20 and 3" exhaust (with cat).

I wonder if it's an AP1 vs. AP2 thing with the AP2 possibly having more insulation? On my AP2, the Hasport mounts are quieter than any aftermarket exhaust I've heard on a S2k. To me, they add just enough volume where you can actually hear the engine whereas with a completely stock car, the stock intake is the loudest thing.

I've mentioned this elsewhere but I had the Innovative 60A mounts on my RSX and now have the Vibratechnics mounts. The Innovative mounts droned and vibrated way too much but the Vibratechnics are very livable. I do plan to get a set of Vibratechnics mounts for my S2000 as well since it feels like my stock mounts have turned to jello.

I have the Hasport 70A engine mounts myself. It shakes a bit at idle, but when driving I don't mind it at all. I don't regret them for a second!

I would love to know how the vibratechnics compare with the hardrace/megans. I took out the hardrace mounts because they vibrated too much and were too loud for my liking. Keep in mind I prefer a quiet stock car and don't have intake or exhaust mods.

Then why in the world would you be considering aftermarket motor mounts?
