Turbo s2k or 360 modena
Hey guys I hope you could let me know which would be the right choice to go with I love my S to death and have owned it for 6 years now and saved up alot its currently NA but soon planned to be turboed. If any of you had a choice which would you rather pick in your opinion turboing your S solid bullet proof twinscroll gt35r built motor v160 tranz 8.8 diff kit, 550-600hp range or go with a 2000-2003 360 modena 6speed true manual, long story short I'm planning to go turbo on the S, but my cousin whos a car dealer, is trying to convince me to get a 360 modena, as far labour charges goes there is no issues nor for insurance cost.. just payments for parts if in any case? what would be your opinion guys?

Hmm then again would a 550-600hp turbo s rape a 360 ??? It would cost cheaper for a fully built turbo s and could invest the side of remaining cash but what kind of potential does a turbo s have up against a 360 or other high end exotics ?

Weekend car but would a turbo s have less of a headache and be more fun to drive than a Ferrari occasionally having the worries that something's gonna blow ? All these years I saved up alot of cash but either way my cousins both already have a 360? Do you think with a 550-600hp turbo S as far as reliability as well could put them in they're place and merk them?

Looks wise yes but it's reliability and maitnenace which bothers me labour isn't the problem but can u beat a 360 motor around and push it like the s2k motor and still be able to take that beating again the next day that's the question ?

I'm gonna assume when you say I've saved up a lot of money, you mean like 50+k. I personally love my turbo s2k and If money were no object i'd sure as f-ck love a ferrari. But realistically can you really afford a ferrari. Do you own a 500k+ house. Do you have a 6+ figure income. Do you have large amounts of realestate or investments. If you do then by all means buy the ferrari. If your 23 and live in an apartment then no don't by the ferrari. No offense, but a young man who can afford that type of luxury is not driving a s2k. I don't think you understand the level of maintainence and ownership cost that comes with a car like that. Not to mention the notorious unreliability. Do yourself a favor and mod the S. It'll still be far better and more reliable than the ferrari ever would. Not to mention waaayyy cheaper to own. Personally if I were you I'd invest some of that money thats burning a hole in your pocket. In 20 years or so it'll grow enough to buy yourself a much nicer, newer ferrari. Just an opinion. Make sure to post up pics of the ferrari if you decide to take the plunge.
