Is it possible to use a 62 backhousing on a Precision 6765? Does it make sense? will i gain spool, and how will it effect top end on this turbo size? Thanks in advance.

Cool now I have one last question. .82 or .63 housing? I know most people say .82 but what about with the T4 housing?

Between a T3 6262 BB and T4 6262 BB, how much spool difference is there?

I dont know about this either but you should call Precision and ask them if its possible to put the 62 back housing on the 67. I think that would be a sick setup and if it'll work well, I'd love to go with this.

Just spoke with my tuner/friend and the 67 has been tested with the 62 back housing. The results werent what was expected. Here are the results. Pretty much the same as the 65 back housing.

I would also like to know if anybody knows the answer to this?

I thought the .63 would spool faster....

This is actually something I have been talking about at work for a couple months now. If you consider what the 62 backside spools at and what the 67 compressor side will support whp-wise, you would have a bad somabitch. Ive been meaning to call Precision for some time now to get their take on producing such a wheel but it never fails to slip my mind . Im sure if there was enough interest for it they would eventually make one. The possibility of them making one is somewhat holding me back from dropping the coin on a 6765. Ill put that phone call on my to do list tomorrow

Thats a nasty ass Evo haha. Well the good thing about going with a BB 6262 is that I wont have to upgrade turbos for a very long time!

As far as getting a .63, yes you would think it spools faster but it some cases its the same. On some turbos you will notice the .82 flowing more efficiently as the .63 loses some top end breath. I would just like to know if the same applies to a T4 housing.
