Default Turbo setup

I have actually had my car tuned for a little while now i just have been lazy about getting onto the forum.

First a little background, my car blew up while doing an N/A AEM tune in June of 08'. Since then I have was saving money and deciding how i wanted to go with the car. This is my setup. I will try to get pictures and dyno sheets up soon but I don't have them on hand at this moment. I went through Inline for pretty much everything.

InlinePro
2.4L short block with copper O-Rings, 9:1 compression

Performance Valve Job
Dual valve springs with titanium keepers and retainers
Supertech Racing valves

T3 Turbo kit
6265 ball bearing Precision turbo
1000cc high impedance injectors
Turbosmart dual stage boost controller
Inlinepro fuel rail

Greddy boost and temp gauges

I think that covers the major optional stuff, if you want a more complete list I can get that later.

For the tune I went to Shane at DB Performance in Rogers, MN. I have to say the tune feels very solid along with the entire car. It ended up making 403.5rwhp and 277rwtq at 13psi which comes on about 4200RPMS. We are thinking it could only hit 13 psi because there was some fuel I couldn't get out of the tank from when it blew up. That and I filled it up with Shell not knowing that gas is frowned upon around here. Im in the process of running a few tanks of BP gas through it to clean it out and then I will go back for a retune. Even though Inlinepro took awhile on the block they were always happy to answers questions, I have to say overall I am very happy with their customer service, products and overall experience. I am very happy with the kit thus far, it is a good looking kit and feels pretty solid. The car has turned into a very streetable beast and is a lot of fun.

I use shell gas almost religiously. Hmmm....good numbers man. I would expect more torque from the 2.4L but other than that sounds awesome. Pics or ban...haha

Shell fuel is number 1 in my opinion and never put anything apart from V-Power in the s2k...

Nice!

You are going to love that Precision 6265 turbo...

That turbo is by far the best turbo out there

Yeah it has an upgraded fuel pump. I thought Shell was good too, maybe its the region I am in. Shane at DB Performance said he usually can get quite a bit more out of BP then Shell. I will get it retuned here somewhat soon and see if there is any major difference. I will try to get pics and/or some video links up soon.

if the gas is bad then go put some C16 in the tank that will clean it up REAL NICELY!! and that way you can get all the right tunes done with the car at various boost levels.

Commonnn Lets see what that 2.4L S2000 can make

Never had problems with Shell, but BP is very good too. Maybe Shane tuned a car before with a bad batch, or something else was causing the problem. Shane is a very good tuner though.

Since youre in MN, you should really be running E85 if you want to get more potential from that turbo. Are you running the cast or tubular manifold?
