i beg to differ.. with more hp how will it not?
Peak horsepower has nothing to do with acceleration below VTEC. The centrifigual blowers actually do get you to VTEC a *little* quicker, but they don't make a lot of boost at low revs. Somewhere around 4,500 RPM my Comptech SC/AC makes the same torque the stock engine made at the base of VTEC (6,000 RPM), so 6k does come up quicker. It's just NOT a LOT quicker. Cars with centrifigual blowers pull hard at higher revs, so after VTEC they're a hoot.
I am currently running a roots type SC - excellent throttle response and good torque from 3000 RPM on up. The kit is not currently available, but should be in the near future (6 weeks).
I should pick up a few more ponies with a good tune - but I am happy with the results so far. This dyno run was with the car running rich - 10.5:1 below VTEC and 11:1 above.
u might need a revhard bolt on turbo.
it comes with everything u need to put the power down no ecu no nothing will be need it..
it will add 100-120 whp and tor around 280 pounds that amount seends very good.
