I wouldn't set it for more than 2 minutes. You only have to worry about TT when you are out hammering on the car and then want to shut it off right away.

I know TTs are designed to cool down turbos, but I was wondering if a TT was recommended for a SCed S2k if you are out railing it and then need to shut it off quickly?

SCs don't get anywhere near as hot as turbos so there is no reason to have a turbo timer on an SCd car.

Some people say you should run down an NA car after a hard drive, but the best way to cool your car down is a cool down lap or drive the last couple of miles slowly. Airflow is your friend.

TTs are designed to keep oil flow to the bearings, b/c turbine is still spinning after the car is shutoff. to my knowledge. it helps increase the life of the turbo, i dont think its applicable to superchargers.
