Default Turbocharging information

Looking for ANY general information & advice surrounding a first time turbocharging set up.

I own a 99 JDM s2k, bought a couple of moons ago and is not my DD. Mainly weekend treats and whatnot. Near standard.. K&n intake, mugen manifold and a decat.

Have been thinking about turbocharging it but if I'm completely honest I don't know where to start.

Any information on what kits, turbo and setups are recommended and in what price range am I preparing for? Any 350+ hp s200 have had to replace diff' or any other parts? A lot of threads I've found are old dated and I'm looking to find newer advice.

Any help would be extremely appriceated, thanks.

I have a FI thread that will be coming forth soon Best thing to do first is EMS and test pipe for now. Once you purchase those, slowly start buying support parts for your wanted horsepower level.

Check out the build index at the top of this section. Read n read n read some more. That's what I did. I went s/c. Yet to be installed. Good luck.

You came to the right place. Now all you have to do is read read read and search. And then just do what worked for everyone else. I suggest relocating everything that is on the hot side if possible.

Hey JayDs2k,

We've had much experience with turbocharging S2k's, we also produce many kits for them, If you give us a call @321-235-2699, we can get you with one of our reps and they will answer any questions you may have, and some pointers on were to begin. Also estimates for prices on the items that you will be needing. If you're interested we can also sell you an entire kit that will work with the type of use the car will undertake.

Thank You
