IRTB'S
ive been looking and sorry if i missed it in the search section. but i am looking to get some itb's reletively soon and was wondering what kit you guys bought. if you are running a megasquirt and what camshafts you have also how is tuning them if you are not running a megasquirt?
Search in the Modifications or JDM forum...you'll find threads on ITBs there. This forum is for mechanical issues and repairs.
BTW...not sure anyone is using megasquirt on an s2k. Many use AEM EMS or Hondata KPro.
There are no camshafts worth buying for the s2k that are easy to get.
And for the cost of ITBs you would have 75% of the money that you would spend on a turbo or SC which would make a good 50-60whp more than the ITBs.

ITB's will only give you about 10whp up top. But you could see gains up to 30whp through the mid-range and a nice increase in torque. But still they are pretty expensive and more problematic than a simple supercharger that will give you way more power than ITB's. If you still decide to get them you WILL need an AEM EMS and a couple hours of dyno tuning as ITBs are difficult to tune. That's probably another 2grand right there. Some people get away with a supercharger on a stock ecu if your on low boost.
Only a couple hours of dyno tuning? I want to meet your tuner!
ASM is running Toda cams with the Toda ITB setup (and a full Toda stroker kit) with fantastic results, but the main problem is finding someone that can tune it all together so that you make power.

i am working on an itb/engine build right now that i hope to have running by early november, i'll be sure to chime in when its done along with detailed dynos and technical specs...hopefully it makes worthwhile power.
i have to agree that a blower makes a lot more sense, but the sound of itb's are unmatched.
