Are twin turbos feasible? twin scroll?
Was talking to a buddy of mine that has a hyabusa, and we got on to the topic of turbos.. i know they make turbo kits for the 1300cc hyabusa engine, but i was wondering if itd be possible to twin turbo an S2k using 2 undersized turbos (ones built for bikes)? id imagine youd have 2 seperate manifolds, 2 cylinders on each. with how high our engines rev and the displacement compared to what the turbo is built for, wouldnt it spool pretty fast? im sure there would be space issues and heat issues that make this pretty impractical, but is this still possible? why has no one ever twin turbo'ed a inline 4cyl with 2 seperate manifolds?
ive seen twinscroll turbos, but im not too sure on how they work. i know they rely on different length piping for the manifold to make more boost, but thats about it. what kind of benefits are there to a twinscroll vs a single or twin turbo?

Looks great, but you get 2x higher faillure rate from twice the amounts of parts which can fail and lead to serious damage. ( oil/water plumbing faillures )
Power/spoolwise you wont get any benefits..
Unless we had a v6 or v8...

twin scroll clean and tidy factory-like installation and reliable performance:
