Default Types of Gas

Ok, i've recently got my car together, and im wondering if anyone has ever tried a different type of gas for race/street. Now im aware of everyone running E85, however my car isn't setup for it due to 1000cc injectors and 255 pump. Im going to run pump gas for during the week driving, but weekends/track use, id like to run something else that wont break the wallet, or easy to get here in Fl. I've looked at 100 octane, and 112 and 114 so far. My goal is 500 on pump, hopefully, or 600 using high octane gas.

Basic run down on my kit.
Afi hotside
6266 turbo
precison Fmic
ID 1000's
Walbro 255 pump single
Dual 63.5 mm Greddy exhaust
3in dp
Aem V1
Now i know my exhaust is a tad restriction, however im going to install a e-cutout soon. Looking to get tuned within a week also. Thanks for any input ladies and gents.

Joeyballs runs Q16 I think on the street. What really matters is how much your willing to spend on fuel. Race gas gets expensive quick if you drive very much. Might consider meth injection as well.

I recommend C16 for the weekends. Gotta pay to play.

That has crossed my mind, but the nearest e85 is about 50 miles away. One way. However, im looking at C16. Still looking at other options.

What other options are there? If no E85 you have either Race gas, regular pump or pump with meth.

Just called a few local places, one place is out of C16, been out for 3 months and they have no other gas. Local air field has 100 for 5.84, so im going with that till i can run e85, and get a decent storage container to keep a few gallons at the house. I dont wanna go the route of missing toulene with gas either due to the fact the rating gotta be the same all the time. But thanks for the input guys.

Well I would say do your pump gas run on 93 if you have that available for street tune or 91. that will get you close to the 500 mark. I just tuned my car on 93 with a similar setup with same turbo and same fuel pump. and my fuel pump maxed out at 490 to the wheels.

So unless you plan on changing your fuel pump before you go i would not even bother getting race gas to tune on until you do. You will max out your fuel pump before.
