3.90's, and if that i feel is too short. im shifting way too fast once we get into boost.
Good information I was debating 3.9 or 3.73 for the longest time now, can't seem to find a gear calculator that has secondary reduction built into it. I guess I will try the 3.73, now I just to pick what brand I'm going with.

I thought it's not going to be accurate without the reduction gear in the calculator, because the gear ratios change with the reduction gear on the s2000 transmission.
After that I wanted some 1/4 mile so I went to a private rental in fayetteville NC the following weekend.
Felt the car had more in it, so we turned up the boost a few more psi and let her eat.. she got all the way through 1st gear before the axle gave up
In the process of upgrading to the DSS 5.9 axles now, as well as going 2x FB340 fuel pumps so we can REALLY turn it up.

Just an update - Took the car in a few months ago to a friends place. I bought the DSS 5.9 kit, KP Drag coils, new MT Street R drag radials, went to 3.73 rear gears, and the Backyard performance CD009 swap kit.
Everything went smooth ecept for the swap "kit" If I could do it again, I would go with the CollinsAdaptors CD009 kit, its all inclusive and much much better customer service, all for the same, actually less price.
My car is now 2 months behind schedule because of the kit, had I bought from somewhere else i would have made it to the dragstrip at least 10x by now, 2 1/2 mile events, 2 roll race events, and unlimited mexico runs--- BUT-- because I had to wait on parts that I was promised are 'ready to ship today", i was sent incorrect and missing hardware, i was given no specific instructions on anything. I dont know about you, but im willing to pay for quality, and i didnt get it with this kit, In fact, you can save about $1000 just by asking for the part #s of the individual pieces and not pay a middle man to consolidate it for you.
Anyway, waiting on the driveshaft and then it will be time to whoop ass. ( BTW - Collins CD009 kit comes with a driveshaft ) Oh, did you know your dash speedo wont work with this swap? I didnt until someone randomly mentioned it a few weeks ago. Oh, and you have to measure the s2k-cd009 specific clutch bearing adaptor- and possible get it machined down because its not very "s2k" specific anymore.. I didnt know that until i already installed everything, even after several communications with the guy that put the 'kit" together.. great service! ( heavy sarcasm)
