Default The UglyStick_S2K by Innovative Motorworks

I never did an actual build thread, so I wanted to consolidate the information while updating as of this week.

Title is sort of misleading, as the car was 90-95% built by T1Race in Tx. Information here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-fo.../#post24037576
and here:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-fo.../#post24037792

So the first thing I had Derek do was max the car out, whatever limited us first is where we would stop. That was fuel system. Got about 490 and one of the fuel pumps failed. Went to a single 450 on E85 and cranked out the 730hp.

After the 1/2 mile, we wound up here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-fo...times-1161021/
With a lifted head.

I dropped the car off to Derek @ IMW and said ill be back in a while, right around 90 days so take your time. Right off the bat we ordered a PTE 6466, FB L19's, gasket and sent head off to get refinished. Noticed some valve issue so went ahead and replaced as well.

Head will hopefully be done this week, possibly even installed....I dont know, im not back yet so im not even concerned.

Having seen Derek/IMW for a few years now at back-back events, I know Im in good hands. I wouldnt really trust anyone else touching the car at this point. Ive heard of some people talk about E-tunes and whatnot, but I dont trust them. I get the same (better) level of email/Teamviewer race day/track day support as they do.

Goal for this car is nothing that groundbreaking. I just want a fast car that "wont break" everytime I drive it. I plan on hitting TX2K17, as I have for the last 3 years. As well as running 185mph in the 1/2 mile, I would like a 5.0 60-130, and car should do a low 9 second 1/4 mile.

Ill Update as it happens

Finally go the car back together... Not too shabby, Picked up about 800rpms of spool and +30hp at the same PSI (27). Unfortunately, ran out of fuel again and seem to still have a backpressure issue. I'll be selling my T1R Titanium exhaust in place of a Schmuckbuilt piece here soon, as well as larger fuel lines and upgrading to an AEM Infinity over the current V1 it has.

I pick the car up tomorrow, and with a few decent weather days coming up, some videos to follow

Any problems fitting the 6466 in comparison with the 6262? I hear they are the same size, power curve looks great what rpm is it fully spooled?

Derek said it was tight as a mofo, required a bit of shaving. I dont know where people see "full spool" at, so i just go by where i hit 500rwtq at, which is 6100rpms on the 6262 and 5400rpms on the 6466

After finding a grounding out issue, and some decent weather, I took it out for a quick spin
