hey man had the vtm wire hook up now and now the CEL light comes on as soon as i start the car now and the rev wont go past 6 now as before it was 7k? any ideas
I am just installing the EMU, and I got CEL on, it turned out to be 2 codes, VTEC Failure and TPS low voltage, I tried JP17 (1-2) and open, and still same code, and for the TPS, I tried to turn the key on, and using the EMU tool press the gaz on the throttle tab, it detected the voltages automatically as such 4.63 and 0.25, and I exported them to the EMU, and started the engine, still CEL on. Even without starting the ignition, the CEL is on, like when I take off the EMU, and turn key on only, the CEL lights for 1 sec then goes off even before ignition... What am I doing wrong?!! Also as soon as I take off the EMU, reset the battery, everything goes fine ?!?!

did you cut the wire or just splice into it ?? you have to cut the wire and wire the EU to the ECU side .
did you read the installation manual at all ? I do tons of these with no issue .
hello to all.
My name is Raul, and i'm installing a Emanage ultimate to a friend on his S2000 AP1.
He have a ultimate unit with the last upgrade software version and a PNP greddy harness.
after that the car starts good and no problem but after some pulls, the car cuts at 6000 rev. the emanage has not any maps active yet. then i actived some maps and bewent cuts i can do a little base map...
The car always cuts at 6000rev, then, stop the car, remove the key, re starts the car and you can do another 5-7 pulls again with no problems
I tried to active some differents maps, go without any maps actived, but the problem always is the same, and then i asked to greddy about jumpers, they reply me with this
Jumper=JP
finally i can solve the problem, after some test i can find some wrong things.
-The problem about the 6K cut is the greddy harness. The VTM signal is need it to plug to the emange to work, the greddy harness only has a By-pass for this signal, I need to cut the wire and plug it to the emanage on the pin 21. with this, the problem is solved but the vtec lower point at whitch is engaged is 6000 rev, if i put a 5500 engage point on the emanage map, the vtec is not engaged until 6000 rev
i need to change 2 jumpers con the emanage configuration.
-Jumper JP8 changed to 1-2, ignition output signal changed to 5v, because the coils were too hot, i got some reviews from another user that burn his coils at the 2-3 jumper position
-Jumper 15, RPM signal input, changed to 1-2, normal input, because on the 2-3 position, the emanage can not gets the RPM on the maps.
With these modifications, i can get about 15whp on a S2000 year 2000 unit. With catback, test pipe and air filter, removing fuel on the injector map and adding a little timing
glad you figure it out. Yeah there seem to be a lot of issue with the greddy harness. People are finding that it comes incorrect in some way or another. I'm a little diasspointed.
Since I have been asked for this multiple times guess it's time to post this up for those that need to verify there harnesses.
These diagrams do not cover the TPS being wired in a different way so you can manipulate the voltage as is necessary on a quick spooling turbo on a AP2 ( Greedy AP2 kit) or as is necessary on the SOT Roots supercharger. These diagrams have the TPS wired in, in the standard way and is the correct way with exception for special applications as noted above or the special way Giles wires his harness.
The "P" or the "S" in the wire description refers to the wire either being in a Parallel/tagged configuration "P" or in a Series/inline configuration "S"
