What have you got your jumpers set to dep, are they the same as folex posted?

I keep getting a check engine light everytime I connect the UE.

Mines booked in for tuning Monday, the tuner is used to emanage but not on a S2000 but saying that not many UK tuners are use to the S2000 tuning.

Then Ult will be at my door on Monday so I have not set the jumpers as of yet.
I did do a quick look over on his jumper settings and they look correct.
I will get back to you as soon as my system comes in and I have a chance to open the case. I will not be installing the system until the week of June 26.
I took a week off form works just so I can work/tune the system.

Did you wire the system up your self or did you buy a pre-made harness.
I ordered a boomslang harness which was custom built to what my intensions were going to be.
An example would be that the ULT can be wires to either just add fuel or add/trim fuel. Boomslang by default wires the system to be a add/trim as this should cover all setups.
However I did have them wire up the 4 additional injector tags in case I want to use them to either control another set of injectors or control a water injection system (via relay) once I go FI.

My The data above (for Natural aspirated) is something I think would be good to shoot for a basic tune with the key point being very precise A/F control via the A/F wideband feed back.

Are your jumpers the same as above??
What check engine light are you getting?
Does the check engine light come on before you start the car or does it happen after the car is running?

Looks like you and me are going to be the only ones running the ULT for now.

Yeah I did set my jumpers as shown above but I will double check them tomorrow. I got my harness from boomslang as well, it was the one with the full options.
I'm going to double check that as well as the US and UK ECU pinouts are slightly different.

The check light comes on before I start the engine, I'm going to paper clip the OBD plug and see what code it flashes, tomorrow.

mark_m did you find out what the Check eng light was?

Just go mine in hand and am fixing to open the case and check the jumpers.
Did notice that there is not a selection for the F22C in the drop down car/engine select

I am going to select the F20C and change the engine displacement.

Any comments on doing this...are any of the other setting different between the AP1 and the AP2 ??

What was the reason for leaving jumpers 13 and 14 open when the ITA and water temp inputs are hooked up?
This is contrary to what is stated in the manual.

I think this might have caused the problems if those wires were hooked up and the jumpers were set wrong.

What injector lag time is everyone using?

what A/F sensor did everyone select when using a wide band the default ones in the program have preset min and max values that do not correspond with the wideband (PLX) A/F I have as its output is 0 to 5volts. It would appear that one could select any brand A/F that is offered and just change the max and min values.

Just a note to me

OEM ECU C16 (white wire) Primary O2 signal (0-1v)
Connect gray wire from PLX WB controller to this wire.

Greddy A/F Plug
Gray wire Ground (connect directly to wide band controller ground.)
White wire Wideband sensor voltage (0-5V) input to Greddy
connect to white wire from PLX WB A/F controller

A/F programming in the Greddy
Select the W/B controller brand that has the Min and Max Voltage values that most closely matches the PLX device (0-5V). once this election has been made manually change the values in the Greddy setup menu to 0 to 5 volts.

Info from Greddy
If the IAT and the Water temp gauges are electrically tagged and jumpers 13 and 14 are left open the ULT will operate improperly leading to possible engine light/ and or improper engine operation.

This is because when the JP13 and 14 are left open the ULT thinks those tags as dynamic (like a knock sensor) instead of linear like a temp sensor would be.

I guess thats why folex said don't connect water temp and IAT wires at the ECU.

I think I had one of the jumpers set wrong which was throwing a code.

deppenma.
Talking of jumpers, something didn't seem right with jumpers 15 and 16, in the manual the numbers for the jumper went 123 but on the board the numbers went 321 could you take a look at yours and comfirm this. Plus which would you go by.

I made sure to confirm the JP # on the board since the picture was missing or had some of the jumpers improperly diagramed

Ok I just doubled checked How I think the JP should be set based on
1) add and trim injectors
2) Vtec control on/off control
3) IAT Tagged
4) Water temp tagged

And everything matched the first post except JP8 see below.

Take note!!!!!
IF folex_187 did leave JP 13 and 14 in the factory location

Glad you are all sorting this out now so I will not have issues down the line.

Just one of the perks of being one of the first people to use this EMS on a AP2 S2000
